Sydney Ann’s Apple, is a new work exploring female identity as shaped by religious doctrine, religious culture and the broader attitude towards religious life in general. Ever-evolving group dynamics - from full-bodied, momentum-based ensemble work to gesturing phrases performed by one – elucidate themes of creation, conformity, belonging, alienation and divinity.
